Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up and service security, fire alarm and building automation systems. The role involves customer training, on-site support, and coordination with project teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires 5–7 years of experience in electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.
• College degree, trade school or equivalent experience required.
• Certification in enterprise security systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up, and service security, fire alarm and/or building automation systems.
• Mentor less experienced staff and coordinate with Project Manager/Operations Manager.
• Read blueprints and drawings; interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to install and service equipment.
• Provide customer training and technical support to maximize satisfaction.
• Lead on-site project safety, quality and performance and ensure on-time completion.
