Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start up, certify, and train customers on security projects of varying complexity. You will be part of a team that values growth, accountability and delivering results, with opportunities to advance as Convergint expands.

You’ll collaborate with engineering and project teams, read schematics, and perform startup and certification testing.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with the ability to deliver world-class service.
• Solid technical skills in fire alarm/electronic security systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision and strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, startup and certify security systems on assigned projects.
• Train customers on systems and provide ongoing support.
• Read manuals and schematics to determine installation procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet timelines and budgets.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in complex troubleshooting.
