Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on fire, security, and building automation projects. You will handle projects of varying complexity and act as the main technical interface with clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with building automation, fire alarm and/or electronic security systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair and service security, fire and/or building automation systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics and manuals to determine installation requirements.
• Provide customer training and act as the technical interface for customer support.
