Pearson is seeking a Senior Director of Security Operations to lead the SOC, drive detection engineering and automate responses across Pearson environments. You will own incident detection, containment and root cause analysis, while refining processes and ensuring governance with security standards.

The role requires collaboration with threat intel, on-call coverage for 24x7 operations, and a strong ability to translate technical risk for executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with regulated environments or government clients.
• 4+ years in security operations, incident response and detection engineering.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage advanced SOC operations including incident detection, triage, containment and root cause analysis.
• Develop, optimize and automate detection logic, playbooks and response workflows to reduce mean time to containment.
• Continuously improve SOC processes and align with evolving threats and Pearson policies.
• Collaborate with threat intel to analyze risks and integrate TTPs into operations.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and provide executive-level reporting and risk assessments.
