Pearson is seeking a Senior Director of Security Operations to lead the SOC, drive detection engineering, and coordinate incident response across Pearson’s environments. This role requires strategic oversight, hands-on leadership, and collaboration with internal and external partners to strengthen security postures.

• Experience in security operations, incident response, and detection engineering (4+ years).
• Experience with SOAR, EDR, NDR, and SIEM technologies.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and regulated environments or government clients.

Responsabilidades

• Lead advanced SOC operations including incident detection, triage, containment, and root cause analysis.
• Develop detection logic, playbooks, and automated response workflows.
• Continuously improve SOC processes and align with evolving threat landscapes.
• Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to analyze risks and integrate TTPs into SOC operations.
• Act as trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, translating technical findings into actionable insights.
• Ensure SOC activities comply with standards and Pearson policies.
• Deliver executive risk assessments and SOC metrics.
