Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician in Florida to install, program, start-up, certify, and train on fire, security, and building automation projects. You will interface with customers, support technical issues, and mentor junior team members to uphold Convergint's culture of excellence.

Responsibilities include system installation, commissioning, and documentation while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery across varied project scopes.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and commissioning security and building automation systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams for installations.
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and service security, fire, and building automation systems.
• Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams; troubleshoot on-site.
• Commission systems and train customers on operation and maintenance.
• Mentor less-experienced staff and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet timelines and budgets.
