Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, startup, certify, and train customers on fire, security, and building automation systems in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.

You will join a team focused on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, with opportunities to mentor others and grow with the company. Candidates should have 5–7 years of relevant experience and a passion for world-class service.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and able to work under pressure.
• Experience with building automation, fire alarm or electronic security systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair and service security and building automation systems.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements.
• Commission new systems, analyze performance and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Provide customer training and support, aiming for high satisfaction.
