Convergint is seeking a full‑time Security Technician to install, program, start‑up, certify, and train on assigned projects, from small to large scale. You will work with a dynamic team and contribute to a culture that values growth, service, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Solid technical skills in fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems.
• Strong programming skills and problem-solving ability.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a variety of systems including security, fire/life safety, and building automation.
• Reads blueprints and manuals to determine installation procedures and repairs equipment.
• Operates systems to demonstrate, start-up, and troubleshoot; documents performance and issues.
