Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. in Massachusetts is seeking an Installation Scheduling Coordinator to oversee the flow of Fire alarm and Security projects from initiation to completion.

You will coordinate with customers, project managers and technicians to optimize scheduling and ensure customer expectations are met. Responsibilities include assigning technicians, communicating daily schedules, tracking progress, and maintaining multiple installation email inboxes while supporting billing,

Qualifications

• Required Associates degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred minimum of five years of service industry experience managing service operations and/or service scheduling.
• Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.
• Must have the ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of projects, tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.
• Able to prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals.
• Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principals is desired.
• Able to influence diverse teams to accomplish tasks/goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates customer Fire alarm and/or Security Installation projects requests from initiation to project completion.
• Maximize productivity and profitability by efficiently scheduling and dispatching Technicians with guidance from Team Leads.
• Communicate schedules directly to the customer and ensure work meets expectations.
• Reconcile external and internal customer requests daily and maintain relationships with customers and contractors.
• Follow up on inquiries and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate.
• Maintain multiple Installation email inboxes for reports and test documents.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, contractors and subcontractors.
• Participate in weekly Operations/Installation meetings and review scheduling/status.
