Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom projects.

You will oversee design, programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and warranty execution. The role emphasizes financial oversight, customer satisfaction, and active pursuit of change orders, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience installing and servicing fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom systems.
• Strong electrical and electronics knowledge with troubleshooting abilities.
• Certifications in P2000, Lenel or C-Cure 9000 are preferred.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site project execution for fire alarm and security system projects.
• Oversee project costs, billings and collections to meet profitability goals.
• Coordinate with customers and subcontractors through all project phases.
• Schedule materials and manage vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide site coaching to technicians and maintain commissioning documentation.
• Prepare as-built drawings and commissioning reports.
