Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a qualified project coordinator/manager to oversee installation coordination, budgeting, and vendor coordination. You will drive project closeout, manage billings, and ensure adherence to plans and safety standards.

Strong communication and scheduling skills are essential for multi-team collaboration. You will support procurement, evaluate bids, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Proficient with MS Office and project software tools.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and projects.
• Familiarity with NFPA fire code requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete assigned projects, including installation coordination and project closeout.
• Manage overall project financial results, including costs, billings, collections, and gross margin performance.
• Pursue change orders and evaluate the impact of scope changes, field directives, and scheduling revisions.
• Coordinate communication with customer representatives across QA, Engineering, Validation, and related departments.
• Support the selection, ordering, delivery scheduling, and procurement of project materials.
• Request and evaluate bids from vendors, subcontractors, and related specialists.
• Oversee subcontractor payment and billing processes as required.
• Coordinate jobsite execution and ensure installation aligns with Johnson Controls literature and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain accurate as-built documentation, commissioning records, manuals, and warranty documentation.
• Track progress and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
