Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom projects for our customers. You will drive tasks, budgets, and coordination with subcontractors while ensuring safety and compliance across the job site.

Responsibilities include design, programming, installation, commissioning, and project closeout, with a focus on profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience with installation and service of fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom systems.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of electricity and electronics and troubleshooting.
• Security experience/certification with P2000, Lenel or C-Cure 9000 is required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service skills and safety awareness.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and use hand tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion and intercom projects on-site.
• Manage project scope, costs, billings, and cash flow while maintaining profitability.
• Coordinate materials, subcontractors, and scheduling; communicate status to clients.
• Provide technical direction to technicians and installers; ensure safety standards are followed.
• Develop as-built and commissioning documentation and warranty procedures.
