Southern TN Regional Health System- Lawrenceburg is seeking an experienced Patient Access Scheduler to coordinate diagnostic and/or surgical procedures. You will interview patients, explain guidelines, and collaborate with clinical departments to adjust schedules.

The role includes mentoring staff, ensuring accurate data capture, and guiding patients through prep instructions and insurance requirements.

Competenze

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in gathering complete clinical, demographic and financial information.

Mansioni

Provides daily support/mentoring/training to new hires and existing staff.
Obtains complete and accurate clinical, demographic and financial information during scheduling.
Enters data in scheduling system or other applications.
Addresses special requests and coordinates with clinical areas for modifications.
Handles incoming calls per scheduling scripts while maintaining customer service.
Notifies customers of physician orders, pre-authorization and financial clearance requirements.
Monitors daily activity and completes performance reports and participates in projects.
