Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a senior SCADA Design Lead to drive the in-house design of monitoring and control systems for utility-scale renewable projects, including PV, Wind, and BESS.

The role is fully remote and requires expertise in AutoCAD, networking, and SCADA standards to ensure reliability and long-term system performance. You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with OT teams, and oversee design reviews, FATs, and project handoffs to deliver consistent, compliant solutions across

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or energy engineering is preferred.
• Direct experience in SCADA engineering for utility-scale PV, BESS, Wind, or similar.
• Direct experience drafting engineering drawing sets for SCADA, networking, electrical, and substation designs.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, networking, and SCADA drawing standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex SCADA design workstreams for utility-scale PV, BESS, and other power projects; produce high-quality drawings and resolve complex issues.
• Define, document, and improve SCADA design standards and best practices; reinforce quality and consistency.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with SOLV OT teams on hardware requirements; review project scope and prepare design documentation.
