SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a senior SCADA Design Lead to drive the in-house SCADA system designs for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects.

You will create comprehensive drawings in AutoCAD and Visio, define design standards, and lead reviews while mentoring junior engineers. This fully remote role requires strong SCADA engineering experience, advanced networking and fiber optics knowledge, and collaboration with SOLV OT teams and customers for commissioning and FAT activities to ensure

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or energy engineering preferred.
• Direct experience in SCADA engineering.
• Direct experience drafting engineering drawing sets for SCADA, Networking, electrical, and/or substation designs.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and networking concepts.

Aufgaben

• Lead complex SCADA design workstreams for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects, producing high-quality drawings and resolving issues.
• Define, document and improve SCADA design standards and best practices for consistency.
• Own and review project scope documents; develop detailed design diagrams, port maps, powering diagrams and BOMs.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and coordinate with SOLV OT for hardware requirements.
• Coordinate with customers and field teams for commissioning support and FATs, ensuring long-term reliability.
