Job summary

Huntington National Bank in Detroit, MI seeks an SBA Eligibility Review Officer III to review SBA and USDA guaranteed loans, ensuring proper structure and closing in line with eligibility requirements.

The role serves as a subject matter expert in SBA servicing, maintains a high-value pipeline, and collaborates with sales, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure compliance and accuracy in all documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with SBA/USDA lending experience.
• 7+ years of SBA/USDA lending/due diligence experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SBA SOP and able to document eligibility clearly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in SBA servicing procedures for sales, underwriting, and closing teams.
• Manage an individual loan pipeline with advanced complexity up to $5 million.
• Assess eligibility of borrowers and guarantors to ensure SBA guarantees can be enforced.
• Coordinate with SBA Sales and Operations to communicate eligibility decisions.
