Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an SBA Eligibility Review Officer III to review SBA and USDA guaranteed loans for proper structure and eligibility, guiding closing teams to ensure compliance. You will manage a complex loan pipeline up to $5 million and act as a subject matter expert across loans and programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years SBA/USDA lending experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years SBA/USDA lending/due diligence experience or 7+ years direct SBA/USDA lending/due diligence experience.
• Knowledge of SBA SOP and ability to document eligibility conditions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review SBA/USDA eligibility and determine proper loan structure.
• Serve as SME in SBA servicing procedures for sales, underwriting and closing teams.
• Assess borrower eligibility and ensure guaranty enforceability.
• Prepare SBA forms and ensure loan meets SBA/USDA requirements.
