Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. in Columbus, OH seeks an SBA Business Loan Closing Coordinator, Sr. to process government-guaranteed loans in preparation for closing within defined service levels.

You will obtain collateral information, prepare closing documents for SBA/USDA loans, ensure compliance, and support post-closing quality control while collaborating with internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with SBA/government guaranteed loan documentation preferred.
• Paralegal certificate and/or associate degree beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains collateral reports and information to meet credit approval and government agency requirements.
• Works with UCC secured collateral, commercial real estate, construction, refinance and business acquisitions.
• Prepares documentation to properly close government guaranteed loans.
• Ensures loans are closed, documented and disbursed per SBA/USDA regulations.
• Monitors disbursements and participates in post-closing quality control.
