Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an SBA Eligibility Review Officer III to assess SBA/USDA guaranteed loans for proper structure and eligibility. You will work with sales, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure loans meet program requirements.

The role involves managing a pipeline of complex loans up to $5 million, documenting eligibility decisions, and supporting training for new hires. Office-based with potential flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or minimum 7 years SBA/USDA lending/due diligence experience.
• Understanding of SBA SOP and ability to document eligibility clearly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review SBA/USDA guaranteed loans for proper structure and eligibility.
• Maintain an individual pipeline of complex loans up to $5 million.
• Assess eligibility of borrowers and guarantors for SBA guarantee viability.
• Coordinate with SBA Sales and Operations to communicate eligibility decisions.
