Job summary

Huntington Bank is seeking an SBA Eligibility Review Officer III to oversee review of SBA & USDA guaranteed loans, ensuring eligibility and compliance with program requirements. You will advise on complex transactions, maintain a substantial loan portfolio, and collaborate with sales, underwriting, and closing teams across HNB markets.

The role emphasizes expert knowledge of SBA/USDA processes, meticulous documentation, and the ability to communicate eligibility decisions clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of HNB SBA/USDA lending/due diligence experience or a minimum of 7 years of direct SBA/USDA lending/due diligence experience.
• Knowledge of SBA SOP and ability to document eligibility conditions clearly to close.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert in SBA Servicing procedures and consult on government guaranteed loan programs.
• Maintain an individual pipeline of work with loans up to $5 million.
• Assess eligibility of borrowers and guarantors to ensure SBA guarantee enforceability.
