Job summary

Huntington Bank is seeking an SBA Eligibility Review Officer III to evaluate SBA and USDA guaranteed loans, ensuring proper structure and that loans close per eligibility rules.

The role involves serving as a subject matter expert, managing a pipeline up to $5 million, and collaborating with internal teams to communicate eligibility decisions and risks. Experience in SBA/USDA lending and SOPs is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years SBA/USDA lending/due diligence experience, or 7+ years direct SBA/USDA lending experience.
• Knowledge of SBA SOP and ability to document eligibility clearly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Review SBA/USDA eligibility and loan structures to ensure proper close.
• Maintain an advanced pipeline of loans up to $5 million.
• Assess borrower eligibility and guarantee enforceability.
• Coordinate with SBA sales and operations to communicate decisions.
