Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to approve or deny SBA loans and extensions after comprehensive credit analysis. You will gather and interpret borrower data, review accounts and portfolios, and prepare detailed credit memos, ensuring adherence to SOPs and risk guidelines.

The role requires solid SBA program knowledge, strong financial analysis, and effective communication to support lending decisions and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically six or more years of relevant experience.
• Strong credit analysis and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SBA lending programs including 7(a) and 504.
• Experience reviewing financial statements, tax returns, cash flow analyses, collateral valuations.
• Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
