Job summary

U.S. Bank in Dallas is seeking a Credit Analyst to evaluate borrower credit, analyze financial statements, and recommend loan decisions in SBA 7(a) and 504 contexts.

You will collaborate with lending, underwriting, servicing and portfolio teams to ensure accurate credit documentation and risk assessment. The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, 6+ years of relevant experience, and strong analytical skills in credit analysis, risk, and SBA program knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically six or more years of relevant experience.
• Strong credit analysis and analytical skills.
• Thorough knowledge of credit analysis, administration, policy and risk.
• Knowledge of SBA 7(a) and 504 lending programs and servicing.
• Experience reviewing financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral valuations.

Responsibilities

• Approve extension of credit and make recommendations on SBA loans.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and industry trends.
• Ensure adherence to bank credit policy and SBA SOPs.
• Collaborate with lending, underwriting, servicing, and portfolio teams to support SBA lending.
