Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager in our Technology practice to shape SAP-driven transformations for manufacturing and supply chain clients. You will translate business needs into technical specifications and lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver efficient SAP solutions.

Responsibilites include managing client engagements, budgeting, stakeholder communication, and mentoring junior consultants while driving new business opportunities. This role requires 40–60% travel across client sites.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Typically, 5 - 7 years of relevant experience.
• At least five (5) years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) within a functional consulting or system configuration role.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
• Proven experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project-based team members.
• Knowledge of best practices in supply chain, along with benchmarking and advisory experience related to supply chain-specific technology functions.
• Ability and comfort-level traveling to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.
• Experience in conducting technology cost-benefit analyses.
• Familiarity with technology business architecture frameworks.
• Skills in training design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Leading engagement delivery and managing client relationships on a daily basis.
• Overseeing program/project management and ensuring engagement economics are met.
• Developing resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.
• Leading large-scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
• Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and possessing strong business acumen.
• Staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
• Consistently delivering high-quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping key stakeholders informed of developments and expected outcomes.
• Building and maintaining relationships with client personnel at all levels to foster collaboration and trust.
• Effectively leading and motivating diverse teams, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
• Identifying and generating new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively assessing ways to meet client needs.
