Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to design, configure, test and implement SAP IS-U customer‑facing solutions across the meter‑to‑cash lifecycle. You will collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into functional SAP designs and coordinate end‑to‑end processes.

The role involves travel and delivering across client projects in the utility domain, with a focus on customer, account, contract, premise and service‑point workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Typically 3–4 years of SAP IS‑U or SAP Utilities experience, including at least 3 years in SAP IS‑U Customer Service.
• Hands‑on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing and production support.
• Experience with customer, business partner, contract account, utility contract and customer‑service processes.
• Understanding meter‑to‑cash dependencies across related systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, moves, transfers and service changes.
• Configure SAP IS‑U Customer Service including business partner, contract account, and customer data.
• Design and support service‑request, notification, and customer‑contact processes.
• Translate requirements into SAP IS‑U functional designs and workflows.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end process impacts across Billing, FI‑CA, Device Management and field service.
• Analyze exceptions affecting activation, billing readiness, and data integrity.
• Prepare functional specs, data mappings and test scenarios; support UAT and cutover.
• Provide knowledge transfer and user procedures; document customer and data impacts.
