Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement SAP IS-U solutions for utility clients across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

You will work with business stakeholders and technical teams, travel 40-60% to meet client needs and deliver end-to-end customer, account, contract, premise, and service-point processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including at least three years in SAP IS-U Customer Service.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, move-in/move-out, transfers, start/stop service.
• Configure SAP IS-U Customer Service solutions including business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise, service connection, and customer master data.
• Design and document service-request, notification, and customer-contact processes aligned with SAP IS-U and meter-to-cash.
• Translate service-operation requirements into customer, account, contract, premise, and service-request workflows.
• Coordinate end-to-end process impacts across Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, Work Management, and digital channels.
• Analyze customer-impacting exceptions involving service activation, account changes, and data conversions.
• Prepare functional designs, data mappings, test plans, and process flows for customer self-service and related systems.
• Support unit/integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production issue analysis.
