Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Manager to lead end-to-end FI-CA design and delivery, owning the FI-CA workstream and aligning with policies and the broader SAP IS-U solution. You will collaborate with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Client teams to drive quality, controls, testing, and deployment.

The role requires deep FI-CA expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to manage cross-functional workstreams across the utilities domain. Travel up to 40–60% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with FI-CA, plus 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U FI-CA functional design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience delivering FI-CA solutions across payments, receivables, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, and reconciliation.
• Experience leading Finance and business workshops, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design governance, functional design, testing, defect resolution, cutover, and operational readiness.
• Experience governing cross-functional integrations across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, financial systems, banking and payment processes, and FI/CO General Ledger.
• Experience overseeing testing and readiness for high-volume FI-CA processing.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Own the FI-CA workstream from requirements through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define and govern the functional design for receivables, payments, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, and controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, workshops, and design reviews to translate requirements into FI-CA solutions.
• Drive integration and reconciliation design across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, banks, and SAP FI/CO GL.
• Establish FI-CA financial controls, posting, and reconciliation processes for auditability.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies and communicate options and impacts to leadership.
• Develop functional specifications, solution documentation, and configuration standards.
• Lead and coach FI-CA consultants and coordinate with technical partners.
• Oversee end-to-end testing and defect resolution for payments, posting, period close, and high-volume FI-CA processing.
• Oversee cutover, training, and production readiness activities.
