Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of FI-CA solutions for utilities clients. You will own the FI-CA workstream, align with business policies, and ensure integration with SAP IS-U components.

You will manage functional teams and coordinate with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Client Stakeholders. You will drive requirements, design governance, testing, and deployment, while ensuring controls, auditability, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 4 to 6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, incl. FI-CA, with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U FI-CA functional solution design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment and stabilization.
• Experience designing and delivering FI-CA solutions across payments, receivables, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs, financial integration, and reconciliation.
• Experience leading Finance and business workshops, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design governance, functional design, testing, defect resolution, cutover, and operational readiness.
• Experience governing cross-functional integrations and reconciliation across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, financial systems, banking and payment processes, and FI/CO General Ledger.
• Experience overseeing testing and readiness for payment, clearing, collections, posting, period close, reconciliation, and high-volume FI-CA processing.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing dependencies and risks, and driving decisions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel 40-60%.

Responsibilities

• Owning the SAP IS-U FI-CA workstream, including scope, target processes, solution decisions, delivery plans, quality, risks, and outcomes from requirements and blueprint through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Defining and governing the functional design for receivables, payments, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs, and related financial controls.
• Leading requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, solution workshops, and design reviews to translate requirements into scalable FI-CA solutions.
• Driving integration and reconciliation design across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, banks and payment providers, collection agencies, tax solutions, and SAP FI/CO General Ledger.
• Establishing and governing FI-CA financial controls, posting and reconciliation processes, ensuring auditability and alignment with requirements.
• Managing cross-workstream dependencies to ensure end-to-end alignment across utility processes.
• Developing functional specs, solution documentation, configuration standards, and design decisions for FI-CA workstream.
• Leading FI-CA functional consultants and coordinating with technical/integration partners.
• Overseeing end-to-end testing and defect resolution for FI-CA processing.
• Managing scope, estimates, risks, and escalations while communicating options to leadership.
• Leading cutover and post-go-live stabilization activities.
• Building trusted relationships with client stakeholders and guiding FI-CA capabilities.
