Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions for utilities. You will own the workstream, define the functional approach, and ensure alignment with metering and field operations, integrating AMI/MDMS/EDM/GIS and mobile workforce solutions.

You will lead functional consultants, guide workshops, and drive delivery from discovery through testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with hands-on Device Management, Work Management, meter reading or related field processes.
• 3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U Device and Work Management design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, SAP Plant Maintenance, and mobile workforce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define and govern the functional design for device lifecycle, meter reading, field service, work execution, and operational controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analyses, workshops, and design reviews to translate utility needs into SAP IS-U solutions.
• Drive end-to-end integration with AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, SAP Plant Maintenance, and mobile workforce systems.
• Lead the design and delivery of device and field-work processes, including device lifecycle, meter reading, service orders, and field execution.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies to ensure alignment across end-to-end utility processes.
