Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions for utility clients. You will own the device and work management workstream, define functional approach, and ensure alignment with metering and field operations.

You will guide functional consultants, coordinate with vendor and program teams, and drive solution quality through testing, deployment, and post-go-live readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or utilities experience with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U Device and Work Management design and delivery from implementation to stabilization.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS/EDM/GIS and related systems.
• Ability to lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery through deployment and stabilization.
• Define functional design for device lifecycle management, meter reading, field service, and work execution.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, and design reviews.
• Drive end-to-end integration with AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, and mobile platforms.
• Oversee testing and defect resolution for meter-to-cash processes and field handoffs.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies and stakeholder communications.
