Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead end‑to‑end SAP IS-U solutions for utilities, aligning device lifecycle, meter reading, field service, and work execution with metering and field operations. You will guide functional design, validate integration with AMI/MDMS/EDM/GIS, and drive delivery plans from discovery through post‑go‑live stabilization.

You’ll lead functional teams, coordinate with vendor and program stakeholders, and ensure solution quality,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required.
Typically, no less than 4 to 6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience including hands-on e.g. Device Management, Work Management, meter reading.
3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.
Experience owning SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solution design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.

Responsibilities

Owning the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream, including scope and delivery plans.
Defining and governing the functional design for device lifecycle management, meter reading, field service, and work execution.
Leading requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, solution workshops, and design reviews.
Driving end-to-end integration across SAP IS-U and related platforms (AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, SAP Plant Maintenance, mobile workforce).
Leading the design and delivery of device and field-work processes and operational handoffs.
Managing cross-workstream dependencies to ensure alignment across end-to-end utility processes.
Developing functional specifications, documentation, configuration standards, and design decisions.
