Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions. You will own the device and work management workstream, define the functional approach, and ensure solutions align with metering and field operations.

You will guide functional teams, engage with business, technical and vendor stakeholders, and drive solution quality, testing, deployment, and operational readiness across the utility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with hands-on Device/Work Management and field processes.
• Proven experience owning SAP IS-U Device and Work Management design and delivery through implementations.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS, EDM, GIS and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery to post-go-live stabilization.
• Define functional design for device lifecycle management, meter reading, field service, and work execution.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, workshops, and design reviews.
• Drive end-to-end integration across SAP IS-U and AMI/MDMS/EDM/GIS/inventory and mobile workforce solutions.
• Oversee device and field-work processes, including cross-workstream handoffs and operational controls.
• Coach functional consultants and coordinate vendor teams to resolve issues and ensure delivery quality.
