Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions. You will own the Device and Work Management workstream, align device processes with metering and field ops, and ensure operational readiness.

You will guide functional consultants, collaborate with business, technical and vendor teams, and drive solution quality, testing, deployment, and cutover across utility processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or utilities experience with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U Device & Work Management design and delivery.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS, EDM, GIS and mobile workforce solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery to post-go-live stabilization.
• Define functional design for device lifecycle, meter reading, field service and work execution.
• Lead requirements gathering, workshops and design reviews translating requirements into SAP IS-U solutions.
• Drive end‑to‑end integration across SAP IS-U with AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory and mobile workforce systems.
• Oversee testing, defect resolution, cutover and operational readiness across end-to-end processes.
• Coach and lead functional consultants, coordinate vendor teams and manage cross-workstream dependencies.
