Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions. You will own the Device and Work Management workstream, define the functional approach, align SAP IS-U processes with metering and field operations, and ensure the solution supports reliable utility operations.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree.
• Typically, 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience.
• Experience leading a functional workstream or team.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U Device and Work Management design and delivery.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with related utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define and govern the functional design for device lifecycle, meter reading, field service, work execution, and operational controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analyses, solution workshops, and design reviews.
• Drive end-to-end integration with AMI, MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory, and mobile workforce solutions.
• Oversee device and field-work processes, exception handling, and operational handoffs.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies and ensure alignment across end-to-end processes.
• Develop functional specifications and design decisions to ensure quality and consistency.
• Coach functional consultants and coordinate vendor teams to resolve issues.
