Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Device & Work Management Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Device and Work Management solutions for utility clients in the US.

You will own the Device and Work Management workstream, align SAP IS-U processes with metering and field operations, and coordinate with business, technical, vendor, and program stakeholders to drive solution quality and readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with device/work management exposure.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U design and delivery through all phases.
• Experience integrating SAP IS-U with AMI/MDMS, EDM, GIS, inventory and mobile workforce systems.
• Led cross-functional workshops, design reviews and testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Own SAP IS-U Device and Work Management workstream from discovery to post-go-live stabilization.
• Define functional design for device lifecycle, meter reading, field service and work execution.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analyses and design reviews.
• Coordinate end-to-end integrations with AMI/MDMS/EDM/GIS and related systems.
• Oversee device and field-work processes, exceptions, and operational handoffs.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies and stakeholder decisions.
• Develop functional specs, documentation and configuration standards.
• Coach consultants and align vendor teams on design decisions.
