Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to support the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of customer-facing SAP IS-U solutions across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate utility service-operation requirements into effective functional designs, test scenarios, and data mappings, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience.
• Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and production support.
• Experience delivering functional designs and data conversions in a utility environment.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical SAP IS-U designs and workflows.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, and moves.
• Configure SAP IS-U Customer Service modules (business partner, contract account, premises).
• Design and support service‑request, notification, and customer‑contact workflows.
• Translate service‑operation needs into reliable SAP IS‑U workflows.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end impacts across Billing, FI‑CA and related systems.
• Prepare functional designs, data mappings, and test scenarios.
• Execute unit and integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
• Support data conversion, cutover readiness, and post‑go‑live stabilization.
