Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement customer-facing SAP IS-U solutions across the meter-to-cash lifecycle for utility clients. You will collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into functional designs and support cutover, data validation, and production stabilization.

The role offers travel up to 40-60% within the US and the chance to contribute to complex SAP projects in EY's global, inclusive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including 3+ years in SAP IS-U Customer Service.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or design, testing, and production support.
• Experience with SAP IS-U customer, business partner, contract account, premises, service connection, and related processes.
• Experience with utility customer-lifecycle processes across account maintenance, service requests, move-in/out, transfers, start/stop service.
• Understanding meter-to-cash dependencies across SAP IS-U, Billing, FI-CA, and related systems.
• Experience preparing functional specs, configuration docs, test scenarios, data mappings.
• Experience executing unit/integration testing, UAT, regression testing, cutover, production stabilization.
• Travel willingness at 40-60%.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and analyzing requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, move-in/move-out.
• Configuring SAP IS-U Customer Service solutions including business partner and contract accounts.
• Designing service-requests, notifications, and customer-contact processes aligned with SAP IS-U.
• Translating service-operations requirements into SAP IS-U workflows.
• Coordinating end-to-end process impacts across Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, Work Management, etc.
• Analyzing customer-impacting exceptions related to activation, billing, payments, data, or integrations.
• Preparing functional designs, configuration docs, test data, and project deliverables.
• Executing unit and integration tests; supporting UAT and issue resolution.
• Supporting data conversion activities and cutover readiness.
• Collaborating with client stakeholders and teams to resolve cross-workstream issues.
• Providing knowledge transfer and user procedures to client teams.
