Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement customer-facing SAP IS-U solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate utility service-operation requirements into effective functional solutions spanning customer, account, contract, premise, service-request, and customer-contact processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including at least three years of hands-on SAP IS-U Customer Service.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience with SAP IS-U customer, business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise, service connection, and customer-service processes.
• Experience supporting utility customer-lifecycle processes, including account maintenance, service requests, move-in/move-out, transfers, and start/stop service.
• Understanding of meter-to-cash processes and the dependencies among Customer Service, Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, Work Management, field-service, and connected systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SAP IS-U Customer Service solutions to clients and internal teams.
• Apply functional knowledge to address complex customer-service requirements and support successful project delivery.
• Travel to meet client needs (40–60%).
• Gather and analyze requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, and related processes.
• Configure SAP IS-U Customer Service components including business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise, and service connection.
• Design and support service-request, notification, and customer-contact processes aligned with SAP IS-U and meter-to-cash workflows.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration documentation, test scenarios, data mappings, and other deliverables.
• Execute unit/integration testing and support UAT, regression testing, and production issue analysis.
• Support data conversion, cutover readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
