Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utilities clients in the US. You will own the Billing workstream, define the functional approach, and ensure alignment across meter-to-cash processes.

You will lead functional teams and collaborate with business, technical, and program stakeholders to drive solution quality and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U/Utilities experience; 3+ years leading a workstream.
• Experience with time-of-use or interval-based billing and EDM integration.
• Experience integrating Billing with SAP IS-U capabilities (Device Management, FI-CA).
• Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream through design to post-go-live stabilization.
• Define target functional design for Billing, including rate structures and billing schemas.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, and design governance for scalable SAP IS-U solutions.
• Drive end-to-end integration across Billing and related SAP IS-U capabilities (Device Management, EDM, FI-CA, Customer Service).
• Lead complex billing scenarios including TOU and interval-based billing, rebilling, and invoicing.
• Develop functional specifications, documentation, and design standards to ensure quality.
• Coach team members and drive timely resolution of cross-workstream issues.
• Oversee testing and defect resolution for rates, cycles, and financial impacts.
• Manage scope, estimates, risks, and stakeholder decisions with clear communication.
