Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions. You will own the Billing workstream, define functional design, translate rate and regulatory requirements, and ensure alignment across meter-to-cash processes.

You will lead functional teams and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to drive solution quality, integration, testing, deployment, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience with time-of-use and/or interval-based billing and EDM integration.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream from design to post-go-live stabilization.
• Define target functional design for Billing and Invoicing with billing schemas and high-volume processing requirements.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, solution workshops, and governance.
• Drive end-to-end integration across Billing and related SAP IS-U capabilities (Device Management, EDM, FI-CA, CS, Meter-to-Cash).
• Lead design and delivery of complex billing scenarios (time-of-use, interval billing).
• Develop functional specifications, design decisions, and documentation to ensure quality.
• Coach and mentor functional team members and manage cross-workstream issues.
• Oversee testing and defect resolution for rates, tariffs, billing cycles, and invoicing.
