Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead end-to-end SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing design and delivery. You will own the Billing workstream, translate regulatory requirements, and ensure integration with related SAP IS-U capabilities.

You will guide functional teams, manage risks, and drive successful cutovers and operational readiness. You will collaborate with business, technical, and program stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality billing solutions

Qualifications

• Deep functional knowledge of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing and the broader utility meter-to-cash process.
• Strong understanding of utility rates, tariffs, billing cycles, exceptions, consumption-based billing, and financial impacts.
• Ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into scalable SAP IS-U functional designs.
• Proven ability to lead complex SAP transformation initiatives and client-facing engagements.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Owning the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream, including scope, delivery plans and outcomes.
• Defining the target functional design for Billing and Invoicing, including rate/tariff structures and billing schemas.
• Leading requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, solution workshops, and design governance.
• Driving end-to-end integration across Billing and related SAP IS-U capabilities.
• Leading the design and delivery of complex billing scenarios, including time-of-use and interval-based billing.
• Developing functional specifications, documentation, configuration standards, and design decisions.
• Leading and coaching functional team members and ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Overseeing testing and defect resolution for rates, tariffs, and billing cycles.
• Managing workstream scope, estimates, risks, and stakeholder decisions and escalations.
• Leading cutover planning and billing-cycle transition activities and production readiness.
