Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utilities clients. You will own the Billing workstream, define functional approach, and drive solution quality across the meter-to-cash process.

You will lead functional teams, translate regulatory requirements into scalable SAP IS-U designs, and manage cutover, testing, and operational readiness. Travel 40–60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream, including scope, decisions, delivery plans and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define target functional design for Billing and Invoicing (rates, tariffs, billing schemas).
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments and design governance.
• Drive end-to-end integration with related SAP IS-U capabilities (Device Management, EDM, FI-CA, Customer Service).
• Lead design and delivery of complex billing scenarios (time-of-use, interval-based billing, rebilling).
• Develop functional specifications, documentation and design standards.
