Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead end-to-end SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for US utilities. You will own the Billing workstream, translate rate and tariff requirements into scalable designs, and ensure alignment across meter-to-cash processes.

You will guide functional teams, manage dependencies, and drive solution quality from design through deployment. Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in SAP IS-U/Utilities, hands-on IS-U Billing experience, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 4–6 years of SAP IS-U/Utilities experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing.
• 3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.
• Experience with time-of-use and interval-based billing and EDM integration.
• Experience with cross-functional SAP IS-U capabilities and bill-print integrations.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream from design to deployment and stabilization.
• Define target functional design for Billing, tariffs, and billing schemas.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analyses, and design governance.
• Drive end-to-end integration across Billing and SAP IS-U components.
• Lead complex billing scenarios including time-of-use and rebilling.
• Develop functional specs and design standards for consistency.
• Coach and mentor functional team members and manage cross-workstream issues.
• Oversee testing, defect resolution, and cutover activities.
• Communicate impacts to operations, revenue, schedule, and quality.
• Plan cutover and training for production readiness.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide SAP IS-U guidance.
