Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions. You will own the Billing workstream, translate rate and tariff requirements, and ensure alignment across the meter-to-cash process, collaborating with business, technical, and program stakeholders.

You will guide functional teams through design, testing, deployment, and operational readiness, driving innovation and quality while managing dependencies,

Qualifications

• Deep functional knowledge of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing and the meter-to-cash process.
• Strong understanding of utility rates, tariffs, billing cycles and financial impacts.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable SAP IS-U designs.
• Lead SAP transformation initiatives and client-facing engagements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage dependencies.
• Clear written and verbal communication for business and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream from design through deployment and stabilization.
• Define target functional design for Billing, tariffs, schemas, and processing.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, and design governance.
• Drive end-to-end integration across Billing and related SAP IS-U capabilities.
• Oversee complex billing scenarios including time-of-use and interval billing.
• Develop functional specs, documentation, and design standards.
• Coach and mentor functional team members and resolve cross-workstream issues.
• Oversee testing, defect resolution, and cutover activities.
• Communicate impacts to operations, revenue, schedule and quality.
