EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utility transformations in the United States. You will own the Billing workstream, define the functional approach, translate rate and tariff requirements into scalable SAP IS-U designs, and ensure alignment across the meter-to-cash process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Typically, 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing.
• 3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solution design and delivery.

Responsabilités

• Own the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream, including scope, decisions, delivery plans, quality, risks, and outcomes.
• Define the target functional design for Billing and Invoicing, including rate structures, billing schemas, controls, and high-volume processing requirements.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, solution workshops, and design governance.
• Drive end-to-end integration across Billing and related SAP IS-U capabilities.
• Lead the design and delivery of complex billing scenarios (time-of-use, interval-based, rebilling, invoicing, reconciliation).
• Develop and oversee functional specifications, documentation, configuration standards, and design decisions.
• Lead and coach functional team members and manage cross-workstream issues.
• Oversee testing and defect resolution for rates, tariffs, billing cycles, high-volume runs, and downstream impacts.
• Manage workstream scope, estimates, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder decisions; communicate impacts.
• Lead cutover planning and billing-cycle transition activities; ensure production readiness.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide functional guidance on SAP IS-U capabilities.
