Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager in the US to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions within the meter-to-cash process.

You will own the Billing workstream, define functional approaches to complex rate and tariff structures, and drive integration with EDM, FI-CA, and other IS-U capabilities while guiding cross-functional teams through design, testing, and deployment for large-scale utility transformations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream from design through post-go-live.
• Define target functional design for Billing: rates, tariffs, schemas.
• Lead requirements, fit-gap analyses, and design governance.
• Drive end-to-end integration across Billing and SAP IS-U capabilities.
• Lead complex billing scenarios including time-of-use and interval billing.
• Develop functional specs, documentation, and configuration standards.
• Coach functional team members and resolve cross-workstream issues.
• Oversee testing, defect resolution, and cutover activities.
• Communicate scope, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide functional guidance.
