You will work with CFOs and leaders of middle market and Fortune 500 companies, delivering strategic SALT compliance and consulting, with emphasis on nexus, taxability analyses, and remediation. You will mentor staff and help build a fast‑growing practice with collaborative support.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required.
• Masters or advanced degree preferred.
• CPA or Law license required.
• Eight+ years of state and local tax experience in a professional services firm.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic SALT compliance and consulting to middle market and Fortune 500 clients.
• Manage multi-state reviews covering income, franchise, sales & use, and other taxes to optimize filings.
• Counsel clients on SALT controversies, including research and responses to notices.
• Plan and execute tax projects, including due diligence and voluntary disclosures.
• Prepare technical memoranda on SALT issues for various entities.
• Lead and develop staff to ensure project staffing and profitability.
