Responsibilities

• Provide strategic state and local tax compliance and consulting services to mid-market and Fortune 500 clients.
• Manage multi-state reviews across income, franchise, sales and use, and other taxes to optimize filings and incentives.
• Research state and local tax issues including nexus, taxability and potential liabilities.
• Counsel clients on state and local tax controversies and respond to audits and notices.
• Lead and develop staff on engagements to meet profitability targets and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Network with clients and professionals to grow the SALT practice and participate in training programs.
