Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a State & Local Tax Senior Manager with a consulting focus to join our growing SALT practice near a preferred Baker Tilly office. You will work directly with CFOs and senior leaders from middle-market and Fortune 500 companies to solve complex SALT challenges and drive strategic planning.

You will oversee multi-state projects, collaborate across tax sub-practices, and mentor junior staff while ensuring high-quality work and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• CPA, Law License, CMI or other relevant certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic state and local tax compliance and consulting services for middle market and Fortune 500 clients.
• Lead multi-state tax reviews covering income, franchise, sales and use, and other taxes to optimize filings.
• Mentor and manage staff on engagements to ensure quality and profitability.
