Job summary

Ramp is hiring a Senior Business Systems Engineer to own and evolve Ramp’s Quote-to-Cash systems. You’ll maintain Salesforce-based quoting, contract workflows, and Billing/Core integrations that translate complex agreements into accurate customer outcomes—from quote creation to amendments.

This role sits in Growth Engineering’s Business Systems Engineering and partners with Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, and GTM teams to ensure reliable, scalable revenue workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building applications on the Salesforce Platform.
• 5+ years of systems architecture and integration experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Apex, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and asynchronous processing.
• Working knowledge of Python and robust API/integration design.
• Experience with Quote-to-Cash domains and Salesforce CPQ is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on the Salesforce Platform.
• Build and operate Ramp’s Salesforce-based Q2C platform and integratons with Salesforce, Ironclad, Billing/Core.
• Own data contracts, idempotency, error handling, reconciliation, and safe lifecycle changes for quotes and contracts.
• Develop and maintain integration solutions using in-house services and approved automation platforms.
• Drive architecture and tooling decisions for fast, reliable, scalable revenue workflows.
• Document technical specifications, data models, and process flows.
• Collaborate on code reviews, debugging, and solution design with the team.
